Default blinking C.E.L

has anyone else experienced a check engine light during hard pulls? my camaro's starts blinking when i get it up to about 5000 rpm's. when im just driving casually everythings fine, even checked it with the predator and nothing comes up. so is this just the car telling me im getting up there or what? any advice is good advice in my eyes so thanks in advance

that means a misfire. I just fixed a V6 with a bad coil pack that was doing that. although it was bad enough that at idle it still only ran on 5 cylinders and the SES was solid, but if you tried to give it a good amount of throttle it would blink.

Yea a blinking check engine light means something serious like a misfire, as stated above

what are some good coil packs? my predator picked up the miss fire but said in random/multiple cylinders. so i figured this is my time to just upgrade, but which coil packs should i get?

fast ls1 fuel rails
racetronix 24lb injectors
coil packs?
msd 8.5mm plug wires
ngk iridium tr55's

or should i up the injectors to 37lb? i'm running on stock fuel delivery and dont really have plans for the car. just exhaust and a few bolt ons, maybe a small cam.

thanks in advance

I would replace the plugs and wires and see if that fixes our problem before buying new coil packs.

Plugs and wires first!! Check for a burnt wire if you are running headers.

Wouldn't hurt to check compression on 5&7. Hope that's not the case. Was for me.

if you have cats on it i wouldnt drive it to much with a misfire that is causing check engine to blink. it means its a bad miss and you will destroy the cats. this is words out my mechanics mouth. i have to deal with this a lot on my car lot
