what tire are you on? even most guys with nittos (and your setup) can pull low low 1.7 times or better. i am on stock shocks, lowering springs, lca/relocation brakets and pull consistent low 1.5 60'

Vig 3200, 26-8.5x15 ET Drags on 7.5" Convo-Pro's w/3.23's. 1.67 sixty ft. times. That's w/stock f&r shocks, V6 rear springs ('95 F-body), rt. side airbag, disconnected frt. swaybar. Hoping some good shocks will give me low 1.6's or even high 1.5's....WJ.

i dont know whats wrong with my car but i have a bmr track pack(torque arm + x brace), lca's, panhard bar, subframes, bfg's, and ~3000 stall converter and the best i can pull is 1.8's.
my friends are telling me to buy lakewood 70/30 rear shocks from jegs or summit or something and their like $45 a piece. i think ill try them out and if i dont like them ill probably go with hals.

I have the HALs on my car & they certainly stiffen the rear during launch. But just spinning almost sounds more like your torque arm is adjusted wrong, giving you the improper pinion angle. Have you tried adjusting it nose down a little?

Did you unbolt the Front Sway bar? That helped me get some better 60ft's this weekend..Seems like your air pressure is to low..Try 17lbs & go from there..Maybe run more gas to put weight back there..It might slow you down but it might not..On my 98 T/A I have Mac headers, Lid, Cutout, LCA's, Yank 3500, Tuning, 3.42 Gears..My best 60 ft on MT ET Streets is a 1.77.I was doing 1.80's this weekend compared to 1.84's the month before..

my hal/qa1's made a ton of difference, along with bmr lca's & sfc's (love them 12 way adjustments!)
