Torn off 02 sensor wire? Fixing advice?
Well basically the 02 sensor wire that goes from the header to the pcm was hanging too low and was pretty much cut off.
It is cut between the connector and the pcm, I still have the sensor and connector though. A good 6 inches of wire were chewed up by the road too.
Any ideas on fixing this without having completely off readings?

How bad is doing that? Do you have to desolder the rear o2 wire and solder it on to where the front one would go on the PCM?
I'm listening but you aren't getting it. The O2 Side of the wire is screwed also, and I know I have to get a new one, but what about the part of the wire that is screwed between the connector and the PCM?
Do I just need a whole new wiring harness?

What I do is this, I have a GM weatherpack terminal crimper. I get the corvette rear 02's, then I cut them to length, and crimp new weatherpack pins onto the end of the wires, and re-insert them into the weather pack connector, it gives you the perfect length wire, and your not "splicing wires", all your doing is making the wires shorter, and hooking the wire back into the connector, the same way they were brand new outta the box.

Ohhh Nice, how much that run you?
Any Idea what the sensor reads? I thought it was resistance but I'm looking in some manual and its saying something about reading from .1-.9 volts

O2 sensors read oems of resistance I believe. They switch on and off rapidly.
Edit: The crimper has came in very handy many times, I don't run any type of adapters on my car, I install the correct connector on the ends of the wires. I've done this with my LS7 MAF, and my USCAR/EV6 injectors. Adapters just clutter up and already cluttered engine bay.

I've done this to with connectors. I thought about doing it on O2s since I need to replace mine. What size connectors are they? Where do you get yours from?
I got my crimper off eBay for pretty cheap and I have a lot of different adapters depending On what I'm working on

sweet, thanks for all of the advice!
The crimper was like $20, the pins.... LOL, they are like $0.15 a piece, and that's for real DELPHI GM pins.
