Default Barrett Jackson this weekend!

Anyone else planning on going? I'll be there tomorrow, probably all day.

I went. It was fun. Saw the ZL1 there, bad *** car!!! I want one so bad now.

My father in law is a ford guy, he was in heaven watching the drifting mustangs.

my favorite car was the white 68 fastback mustang that was completely custom. Looked nothing like a mustang once all was said and done. Had a $215k reserve.

I didn't even see it. Come to think of it, I didn't even go in the GM exhibit.

1Psycho got to go for a ride in the blue one. The last turns looked sketchy!

Ditto. That one stood out to me THE MOST out of any other car there. I also liked the black fastback in the Ford tent.

The black car was just cool. The white car was simply incredible.

Anyways, here are some crappy pics I took:

... yes, those are ZR1's. I got to test drive the white CTS-V on the top left of that pic.

lmao, it's been a long time since I pulled out the camera so I decided to take some shots with the fisheye lens. Here's one from 2008 that I de-fisheyed into a widescreen pic: http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs45/i/20...k_by_ZexGX.jpg

ZR1's could only be ridden in. The drivers were professional driving instructors I guess. The CTS-V felt nice. Interior was well done (IMO), comfortable, quiet, solid-feeling, and smooth. You could hear a little bit of blower whine, but not enough to be annoying. It was soft-feeling in the corners but it had outstanding grip. The thing that weirded me out the most was the huge amount of buttons everywhere as soon as you sit down... and I'm an IT guy! 10 button choices on the wheel, 9+ on the drivers door panel, the standard range of seat controls, some on the console, and a bajillion on the HVAC/radio area of the dashboard.

The show was much bigger than last year. The new ZR1 was really cool to see in person and the new 45th looked ok. I was only inside the auction tent for a minute, way too crowded for me. My favorite part was the Mustangs drifting, it did look a bit dangerous but really cool the way they slid the cars into the passenger loading area.

oh yea i forgot that I saw "BAD PENNY" there. It was a shame that the hood was closed, my father in law wanted to see the motor.

Lee its nuts how many buttons the CTS-v has. I didnt notice that many when I sat in the wagon.

It was cool to see the Vector as well. I saw two of them a few years ago but ive never seen the one that they had here.

I went to see the Callaway and the son was there. I talked to him for a while and found out that they bought the old Lamborghini dealership off the 55 fwy. I need to drop in there once they are settled.

haha thanks for that 1st shot Lee!

Yeah, I was pleasantly surprised with the cts-v, felt very nice inside, quick, responsive, but still a luxury car..I also drove the grand sport and new ecoboost f150 among other cars, the ecoboost was surprisingly quick and I guess it's faster than the new raptor too..did anyone else get a ride in the zr1?! Damn!!!!! And the driver said they never got outta 1st gear and only got to about 3/4 throttle out there!!

Haha yeah, that last turn into the pits that the mustangs were doing was crazy, well the whole thing was, but it was awesome getting a ride in em.

The whole show was great..some of the cars are just amazing, especially that one guy's collection that was being sold, forget his name, but he had everything from a 64 vette and a 70 challenger 440/6 to a 50's cadillac and an early 30's ford I think
