I am halfway done with my criminal justice degree and am looking into the PLC program. Have any of you been through this or looked into it? It seems like a great deal, just looking for any first hand experiences or advice.

I hear that the success rates for a commission (i.e. drop out rates) are better for PLC than OCS. I'd go for it; but the thing is, you have to go in without thinking that there's any way that you're going to drop. Though yes, it is an option, it really isn't worth it to drop.

I figured that it was going to be extremely competitive, my line of thinking is to still go through OCS next summer and then after I graduate they will let me decide whether or not to take the commision. Even if I don't take the commision, making it through OCS will look awesome on a resume or job application.

If I was interviewing you for a job, and saw OCS completion, but no military time served, my first question would be "Why did you not take the commission?"
