Default My first build 355 LT1, Dyno vid inside

Fresh motor only has about 500 miles on it. Fisrt time on a dyno ever. Im pretty happy with the numbers given the few mods on the motor. .030 over, Speed Pro FA pistons, ARP rod and head bolts. Stock heads, cam and intake. K&N CAI, CMS Opti. Ebay headers, SLP LM1, !AIR,!EGR, AC Delete. M6 3.42 Mail order tune by Madtuner

300 rwhp on stock heads and cam is pretty damn good. My question is why didn't you put in a different cam while the engine was apart?

I was thinking the same thing, or different heads.. But great sounding motor, nonetheless.

I knew that would come up. Long story short was money. This build wasnt intended to be performance as mush as reliable. This car has been my one and only DD for almost 8 years til the last motor spun a rod bearing. Unfortunately I didnt have a budget for h/c package (But at least I know what I have to work with in the future.

That's good for a stock 355 lt1, I can't wait to see what my 355 puts down once I get all of the bugs worked out.

Hey FUPA, That's awesome. I'm glad you got it done. Great numbers. My LS1 didn't dyno that well.
It should be a good reliable motor now to build on when time/budget allows. Good luck!

Wow, this is an Identical setup to what I'm about to be running. I hope I put down numbers like that. Sounds great man!
