Default Pistons Rings

Hey guys, I am looking for a set of piston rings for my ls2 motor. I need all the rings. I cant really seem to find any online anywhere so any help would be great. The rings measure as following:

.046" or 1.1684 mm
.058" or 1.4732 mm
.092" or 2.3368 mm

Thanks for the links guys.

I am not sure what the rules are about links to non-sponsors but the part number is 89017484 and a google search on "LS2 piston ring" yields numerous sources.

For a single piston - presumably eight required. Shop around - check with the sponors for price when buying a full set of 8.

Wow, 280$ for rings? Talk about rape. Anyone know which sponser is the cheapest?

For what it is worth, I checked some local auto parts stores and the price of a full (8 piston) set seems to cost roughly the same as 5 individual (1 piston) sets. So you should be able to get some discount for buying 8 at one time.

You can buy LS2 piston rings from Hastings very affordably. The GM rings are actually a high end set of rings. Check out this thread. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...s2-piston.html
