Paint & Body Work - What change to fit different year tail lights

Hello everyone. I have a 1999 camaro. I found a used set of aftermarket tail lights that have been my favorite for many years. They are the 1993-1996 year. What changes do I have to make to fit the 1997-2002 camaro. Do I have to change the light sockets to the 1993-1996 style or is there no changing anything. Thanks

nothing...just R&R remove & replace :)

at most i think you have to make a little notch in one of the sockets.

mine went right in no problems but then again I got them off a guy with a Ls1 so maybe he had already done that IDK?
