I have a moser 9 inch with a spool and 4.56 gears, I had to get a new set installed due to busting them at the track a while back, I was told that the gears were set up this time more for racing, so should I expect the gears to be louder than before because of this, you can only hear them above 50 mph and the wine a tad on decel, I'm guessing it's the nature of the beast ??

what brand of gear?I had richmonds in mine and they screamed like crazzy,i replaced them with a us gear 4.10 and they are much better

I believe it is a us gear,,,this is my third set of gears set up from this guy and the other 2 were dead quite with a little wine on decel, I'm thinking it from him setting these up more for racing, maybe a tighter gear set
