Steering Mods?
Has anyone ever tried to modify the steering of these cars? There are two things that need addressing, in my opinion -
1) The undeniable numbness.
2) Increasing the speed, so that the wheels turn more with any given input of the steering wheel than they do now.
I haven't familiarized myself with the car's steering yet, but it seems that the second issue I listed could be addressed with quick steering knuckles, as on other cars. Any input on this? Wouldn't it be great if some other GM part would bolt on and speed up the steering? I hate the feeling that I'm spinning the wheel at the helm of a sailboat when I'm trying to catch the car in oversteer.
