Default LS1 Bottom end

What willa stock 5.7 ls1 bottom end handle with arp crank studs, arp rod studs, and forged pistons? I'm wondering because I don't know if I want to stroke it or procharge it. It seems that people are getting around 30-40 rwhp out of a 383 stroker kit. So I"m debating on taking the money I would spend on a stroker kit and put it towards a procharger. I just bought AFR 225 heads. I'm going to order a Fast 102 intake real soon. Any thoughts?

why did you buy AFR225 heads? I'm trying to find out which heads are best for my car. People tell me to get AFR215 but I don't know why.

I just got a really good deal on the AFR 225 heads. My engine builder is a dealer on AFR heads and I got mine new from ebay. He says they are a good heads to build around. The thing with any heads is that you want good flow numbers at low lift due to the intakes on the ls1 motors where they fall off. There is a really good write up on here about the heads flowing good numbers at low lifts, comparing them to the ls1 intakes.
