Default Milling on prc 5.3L heads?

I currently am running Prc's Stage 2.5 5.3l heads on my 02 Camaro...I cant find any of the paperwork that shipped with them (couple years ago) but I did find an e-mail from texas speed saying that they would be milled .010 to .015 for good drive-ability on pump gas....My question is assuming they were milled .015 what would my comp ratio be with a standard gm head-gasket ? Also how large of a cam do you think I could get away with before def. having to check ptv clearance? Imo I feel like the 224 228 .591 .600 cam im running is kinda a waste of my 92/92 lol Thanks in advance....

Your compression ratio is about 11.2:1 assuming a .015" mill. You should check PTV clearance with any cam especially since you don't know exactly how far the heads are milled. I'm assuming that you have stock pistons without flycuts? Your current cam is in no way a waste of the intake manifold and the HP numbers in your sig are proof of that.

You can measure the valve drop and we can tell you what camshafts you can run. However, without knowing the exact numbers on things like that, you'd just be taking a guess at what will fit. With anything you go with, you need to check PTV before firing. Don't just take someone's word that a cam will fit.
