My security light on the gauge cluster is on but the car starts all the time...every time.
I do not have a factory radio anymore.
It takes a few minutes for the radio to come on and the antenna to go up. Does anyone know about this or how to repair it?

its the vatts security system that is making the security light come on. i've had two F-bodies with the security light on and it didn't really do anything as far as starting or driving. i think it might be something in you radio that is causing it to not start for a few minutes i don't think they were related but that's just my opinion being that I've installed 2 or 3 radios in these cars.

I would personally check the solder joints on the BCM, esp. after you said it takes a few mins for the radio/antenna to kick on. The VATS (security) system also runs thru the BCM to send a signal to the PCM. Perhaps the solder is starting to crack/has cracked and is causing your electrical gremlins, I had this problem on mine and it would cause both the radio and power windows to go out. I may be wrong, but hey, it's a start, and honestly the first thing I would check if it were my car.
