Default ls2 advice

have a 05 ls2 6 speed out of a gto in my 68 camaro with 373 12 bolt. what can i do to the motor with out spending a huge amout of money to make it faster. went to milan dragway MI, and ran a 12.14 at 117.

NA - TEA cnc'd LS3 heads, ported L92 intake and a cam.

OR

TEA ported LS2 heads ported LS2 intake and a cam.

Not necessarily, you don't know what the guy's car weighs.

First questions (before suggesting heads, cam and intake) are to know your current mods and how much 'a huge amount of money' is to you.

NA - TEA cnc'd LS3 heads, ported L92 intake and a cam.

OR

TEA ported LS2 heads ported LS2 intake and a cam.
Those are all around $3,000 installed, so let's find out his budget before suggesting he spend 3 grand on the car which might still be running stock manifolds.

Its a 68 camaro. Most likely he is running headers on it for the swap. 3k isnt alot of money for mods if he put a ls2 in his car. Trust me i know it adds up quick lol
