Default will 98-99' headers fit on 01'

I bought some used edelbrock shorties #66722 for dirt cheap, didnt take into consideration that these are 98-99' LS1 Headers, is there ANY way to make these fit onto my 2001'?

Shouldn't be much difference. Do they come with the fixtures for EGR and AIR?

they will fit, its just the provisions like mentioned above that will be different. You will probably need block off plates.

Yes they will fit the car, but 1. You will need to block the EGR and possible the AIR fittings since your car does not have an EGR valve. I don't know if the hookups for the AIR will fit because the manifolds were redesigned in 2000.

Also because they are shorty headers I am pretty sure you would need a new Y pipe/cats. Since the exhaust changed design in 2000. Which is why there are 2 different y pipes available for stock cars. 98-99 and 00-02

Your best bet would be to try and find someone who switched to long tubes and pick up there 98-99 Y pipe and cats since most people will sell them pretty cheap
