Are the 1997 and down suburban 4L60E's the same as a LT1 camaro 4L60E? Trannys gone an need a replacement.. My buddy has a 1997 4l60e out of a sububan and I just want to kno if it's the same.

Is this specific enough - I have a 94 camaro. My buddy has a 1997 suburban transmission.. There both called 4l60e.. Wit his fit in mine?
