Cam help 2000 Camaro SS M6
Hi i have a 2000 Camaro SS M6 with the following MODS
Trick Fliw Heads 215 59cc
Diamond Dish piston -2
Compstar 6.125
Fast 92 index and throttle body
SLP airbox
SLP Pulley
Spec stage 3 Clutch
Horest short shifter
Long Tube Headers and Y pipe
electronic QTP
Nitto Drag radials 555
MSd wires
TR5 Spark plugs
150 Shot Nitrous outlet plate system
my question is what will be the best CAM
for my mods and what do you think i would get in the dyno with proper tuning
my Cam now is Vengeance Vindicator With Lobe 113
but whats the best cam for my MODs please help

if i put a lower gear on the car i wont be able to use nitrous and i can run street racing for only like 300 meters and 4th gear would be done...
i want to keep my stock 3.42 gear and a perfect cam for street racing and good power and daily use and be able to use Air conditioning.
i have a problem my current cam
at idle when i turn on AC
the car turns off.. i dont know why i went to the dyno and retuned it but the same problem happened. does the lobe 113 has to do anything with that?

There is nothingwrong with your Vindicator for the combination you have listed above. You need to get someone to properly tune the car so it will not die with the AC on...
FWIW, the Vindicator will make power to 7000rpm. A 4:10 gear and 150 shot would get you thru a full 1/4 mile pass.

and most races are about 45 mile rolling start
in the stock 3.4 gear i stat on second gear then use nitrous till 4th gear and then hit 5th release nitrous and break. all this is like 1/4 mile
if i change to lower 3.7 or 4.10 gear that will be insane. lets say i bought a 3.7 gear
is it any good for my kind of racing?
thats why the vindicator is not the type of cam im loking for
there is nothing wrong but i want a cam for the stock 3.4 gears thats all

OP, we still need more info....what rpm are you shifting at? Whats the weight of the car? What are the exact specs of the cam? What (other then it dying) is actually the problem with why you want to change to another cam?

the weight is stock weight nothing removed
the specs of the cam are
240/244 605/596 113 LSA
the othet reason i want to change the cam other than the car dying is because this cam needs 4.10 gears... and i dont drag i street race at a higher speed rolling start like around 40-50 mph rolling start all the way to 5th gear
on the stock 3.4 gears without nitrous the cam us not that good but with nitrous the gears kinda act like you have 4.10 gears the rpms move really fast.
i want a cam for my stock 3.4 gears i like it like this im not into 3.7 or 4.10...
other than that the ac problem... search the net see the weather here in kuwait it gets to 120 degrees f 55 degrees c
its really hot and with no ac the car is parked at home
is there a way i can send my ecu to get it tuned and sent back to me?
the tuners here in kuwait are not that good and they try to fix the car and everyone messes something up LOL
but only my car has this problem my friends cars are all great
if you guyz want to see vids of my car while it was still my freinds car il show you a link for youtube. its a great car but too bad the tuners here are not great.

i raced a couple of times with
the car but all N/A
i raced a 2010 camaro SS automatic
with exhaust and air intake and tune
ill upload the video soon
also a C6 with cam and bolt ons but no vid i was alone
and an 2008 moded M3
all those i beat
but i got whopped by a C6 that had heads and cam
and a trans am with heads and cam
ill also upload these later

just bought the ms3 cam
i got it used for $250
but i dont know the lobe
is there any way to find it out?
if i send the part number to texas speed would they know?
and i can still spray nitrous if it was 111 or 112 or 114
right i heard the higher the lobe the better for nitrous
