Prices are back up on first gen fbodies, if it runs and is mostly complete you might be looking closer to the 5-6k mark, a lot of shells on craigslist are selling for 4-6k.

Ah, I was hoping that because its a firebird it would be worth less. Well I will see what he asks if he sells it.

Firebird could make it worth more, 67 68 firebirds look nice I hate 69 firebirds

If you do get it and need parts I have lost of first gen Camaro stuff most is interchangeable

Cool. I will keep you in mind. Still need to convince the wife as we dont have our own garage yet. I wasnt supposed to get a car until we bought a place, but if I can get this for 2-3k then i dont think I can pass it up.

I almost bought a 58 Del Rey but the guy was asking too much. Since im not really in the market, I wont pay a lot for something. if I get a great deal then I can pull the trigger.

BTW if i do get this, my plans would include some kind of LS motor, T56, Grand am interior (i like it and it should fit pretty well), of course suspension and brakes, and no clue on color.

I dont think Ill post if I get it. I will just show up somewhere with it.

oops my bad, its a 67. He keeps it under a cover so I never noticed if it had wing windows. I just looked at the tail light to confirm and it is a 67.

whats so wrong with the 69? Ive never liked it, but dont know why. Is it the body line? they look great on the Camaro, but i guess not so much on the firebird.

I personally like the look of the 67 68 grill as a whole where the 69 looks small and headlights are on the outside of the grill but with repro parts you can make any year look the way you want lol

let me know what he wants for it? if you dont grab it .... i really want one to sit next to the ws6 haha
