Open Headers on the V Was changing x-pipes on the car decided to see what the car sound like with open headers! I have the kook 1-7/8th, now I want cutouts lol! Usually my blower is louder than the exhaust but wow is it fun with open headers, all the neighbors were a little confused what car it was coming from lol

I'm about to be running kooks LT's, catless connectors, mag x-pipe and muffler delete with magnaflow tips. That's right... No mufflers... No resonators. I'll get a clip of it. Gonna sound just like that but a little cleaner since it's piped to the tips. If it's tolerable, I intend to leave it this way and install a cam soon.

My buddy has this exact same setup on his V and it sounds NASTY with his big *** cam! Not sure how it's gonna sound with the stock cam but mine will be cammed soon anyway.
I considered cut outs but I'd run with em open all the time anyway so might as well just run this... Lol

Thats basically what my car sounds like, I'm running cutouts right after the headers. It's a lot of fun and you should see the looks the car gets on the street. Can't wait to do a cam, might send the women running and make the babies cry.

Little too much bark on these things (better be running 10 sec or better and no stock cam 
)...I ran open headers on my 'velle when I broke in the engine (2k rpm for 20 minutes)...Wow, was that loud! Too loud, even on that car (really aggressive cam, true muscle car and what you expect those to sound like)...
I started the car when I took off the exhaust, just to see what it sounded like. Still had the oem manifolds and cats though, so it wasn't as crappy sounding as I thought, or as loud as I would've thought. Could only imagine it with thin wall tubular headers and no cats, yikes! Be neat to hear, but fukk driving around like that...Almost ricer-ish, no offense to anybody who does that; just my opinion...
