Default Fast Slow cars

Had the wagon wheel 3.5 pulley on my Regal tonight and ended up having to change it out to run a Vortech supercharged 4th Gen Maxima. Guys were pretty cool afterwards... although beforehand I think one of them wasn't sure if I was serious when I asked to race his blown Max, lol

This is the dyno for a typical 3.5 swapped Max

3.5 Swap Max with bolt ons, 6spd or 5spd
My car 3.5'' pulley and extra 250lb passenger

Vortech supercharged Maxima, 5spd
My car 3.2'' pulley, equal passengers

It was funny after I ran the 3.5 swapped Max he was sayin how he thought he mighta had me. I wasn't interested because I was spotting him about 30whp and a 250lb passenger. So I asked to run the blown Max which was supposedly WAY faster. They thought I was kidding, lol. I changed from the 3.5 pulley to the 3.2 right there in the parking lot and we went out and ran it, this time with equal passengers. They were surprised to say the least.

I can't say I was surprised by their reactions to my asking for a race. Their cars were quick and they saw my Regal sitting over in the corner of the lot with birdshit on it. They probably thought I was a little whacko.

Haha, nice runs! Don't remember seeing those maximas down there but I'll have to look for them now. That 3.5 swapped one would be a cool race for my brother's TA I think.

I don't think you would notice them unless you were looking for them. They're both pretty inconspicuous.

Nice runs man, looked like a scene from the fast and the furious on the first video when they do the dual fly-by.

I'm running a 3.5'' tensioner with a stock belt. Any particular reason you ask? That's kind of an odd question lol

I have belt slip issues on my regal with a 3.4 pulley. Was thinking of doing either a smaller belt or bigger tensioner, or both.

Belt slip on a 3.4? If you're running the stock belt and tensioner the belt is likely too big. Grab a 3.5'' tensioner, I got mine from napa for like 10 bucks. It'll make everything tighter and it'll also wrap the belt further around the blower pulley.
