The majority has proven true... The OBX header system has shown it's true colors and I'm paying the price for it. I've accepted this and I'm coming to you all for help.

It seems my drivers side OBX header is warped at the flange. The first 3 ports look to have warped away from the head a bit, causing a small exhaust leak. I've contacted OBX and received the expected horrible level of customer service.

I'm weighing my options currently and I'd like your opinions as to whether or not I could fix this problem myself. My thought is to have the flange ground down level by a machine shop of sorts... someone with a belt sander. My thinking is that this would level out the flange while removing the smallest amount of material. What are your thoughts on this?

I appreciate the help fellas as I'm at a bit of a loss. I know I took a risk buying these headers and I accept the responsibility of buying an inferior product. That being said I'd now like to have the problem corrected.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Josh

I honestly wish you well on getting you're problems fixed.

May I suggest asking some of the OBX whores on G8board, those who think that OBX is God's gift to the header world.

A machine shop should have no problems fixing that. Suck to have to take it off though.
