Default Nitrous Backfire(W/Video)- New BR7EF's from TR6's

I took the car out with a fresh bottle and the new Br7ef Plugs gapped at .35 in anticipation to hit it with 200 in the next week or two. Nothing on the car has been changed besides the Non- Projected Plugs(Ran TR-6's with .35 for a year). I purged it and did a quck 2nd gear blast. Then did the run below. Shifting from 3rd to 4th, the car backfired and shut off. I slowed it down and it fired back up around 30mph. No knocking, no smoke and had oil PSI. It ran fine for the 2 mile ride back to the house. I guess I'll wait to get it back on the dyno before I spray it agian. Any idea why this would happen with the new plug with a 150 shot?

The gap is fine.

Whats the rest of the tune up look like? Timing jetting system etc.

What window switch/progressive are you running? Wideband?

You need to read the plugs.. The "tell tell" will be shown there as if it was pig rich, too little timing, etc...

The car was tuned last year with the exact same setup. 11.8 A/F with 4 degrees taken out. Nothing changed but the plugs. 150 Shot pills in.

And I have no window switch, progressive or wideband on the car. Just a WOT switch always over 3k.

With no plugs being pulled, it will just be an educated guess.

Whats the Rev limiter set at? How many times have you sprayed this kit?

Hey... Just sayin'... That's the way the world works... You know as well as I do that pill sizes are more valuable than supposed hp ratings

"Yeah, its only got a BABY hit..." [Throws .028's in the fogger and a .065 in the plate]

Only lost money on that type of guy once!

Br7efs should have been in there anyway in my opinion, with over a 100 shot.

plug may have cleaned up something only to show you another issue. without seeing the plugs or even a hint of what the a/f and timing was anyone is throwing a dart.

the problem is you can back fire lean, rich over or under timed.
