Default Fuel line conn?

Just installed fast fuel rails on my car ran a new braided fuel line to the conn were it comes up the drivers wheel well now its a plasic insert peice dosnt seem like a snug fit though.How is everyone connected the braided fuel line to the stock fuel line?

I ended up using a threadless conn to braided line conn,didnt trust that fitting poor design if you ask me that comes off and kiss car goodbye
