LS4 Performance - 350z race

ran a 350z from a redlight. we both left the light like normal but it turned into a race as neither one of us wanted the other to pass lol. at about 15 we were going all out. his front bumper was next to my rear door till about 75, then i could tell he shifted into w.e gear and at about 85 he gained a length on me. it was a good race though. his mods that i noticed were a very nice looking/sounding exhaust, aftermarket rims with a nice offset, im sure he had other mods though. thought i would share

I lost to a 06 350Z when I had my 08 GXP, all he had was exhaust and intake, I had hogan catted DP, Magnaflow cat-back and K&N intake.

Does G35x have the same engine? I've beat one of thous. Kept upto my car door till about 85km then fell back to my rear bumper slowly.

G35 is the Infiniti 350Z, just a bit heavier. Only 350Zs I've lost to had forced induction.

im considering trading or selling my gxp and getting one. i went and looked at some the other day, but i really did not like the interior at all

I would kill you if you got rid of a rare GXP like yours for a 3.5L VQ... :|

1 of less than 800 without one.... 3.5 VQs aren't great, 3.7 is way better. If you want a V6 get a Genesis.

Same here beat almost every 350z I've ran Into. Got my butt handed to me by a supercharged one. Man it sounded badass!

I'd have to disagree. The 07's with the HR motor run very nice. I've seen with my own eyes stock 07's running 13.5-6 @ 104-105. Pre 07's don't run nearly as well. And working on them on a daily basis, we don't get many with motor issues. The 370Z is a lot nicer vehicle, but from what I've seen they don't run much faster than the HR 350Z's.

Would I get rid of a GXP for a 350Z though, no. They're fucking small, I couldn't drive one every day.

That considered, would still go 370Z or G37, they look so much better.

For some reason, 350Z's are the one car that ALWAYS want to race me in the GXP. I dunno why, I mean the cars are practically polar opposites. Whatever, tho, still fun to smoke them and see the angry look on their face after :)

Im gonna be honest here. If there is one car I would trade my GXP for, it would be a 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe, 6 speed in black. NO questions asked.

Pay the GXP off and then go out and buy another car. I am telling all af you.... the LS4 is a totally different animal with a intake manifold swap!
I tried to trade my GXP in last winter and the dealership only offered me 9,000. This was before my mods but the car is worth a lot more then that. I have looked at a lot of cars and when it comes down to it, the GXP better. Handles so.. good for being such a big car as is extreamly comfortable with lots of room.

I raced a 350z a few years ago and I ran him down. He had an auto. Flipped me the bird once I slowed down.
