User Support & Resources - Idiot moderator

I got the same pm 3 times & 3 10 point infractions for a year & half old post & didnt do what I was blamed for.
All I can say is SCREW him & ls1tech!!

Year and a half old post? That does sound sh!ty. So how many points do we get till were null and void? This thread may not be worded the best to help you out, actually you prob just gained some more points lol. BTW link dont work.

So I should apologize for you breaking the rules? ACTUALLY, the rules state on the 3rd time you're gone, outta here, banned. I did not try to enforce that rule. So I'd say I'm not too bad of a guy. So much for doing someone a favor eh?

Here is the actual rules, and understand this....I copied it exactly. I did not bold anything. Number 5 is bolded and bigger in the stickies: Number 5 is the one in question.



Failure to follow these rules may result in your threads being locked, deleted, or moved. Depending on the severity of your actions, or frequency of your actions, your user account could be suspended or banned.

1. You must post a link to the thread in which the transaction took place.

2. You must name the user that you are leaving negative feedback for in the thread title and clearly in the post itself.

3. You must start your own thread following these rules. Do not piggyback your story in someone's existing thread.

4. This forum is for feedback of actual transactions only. This means if you "almost" bought something, or thought about it but changed your mind, or didn't like the attitude of the person you were dealing with, DO NOT POST A THREAD IN HERE.

Again, if money and/or parts or service were not exchanged by at least one party to the sale then you cannot post a thread in this forum.

5. Do NOT post in ANY thread in which you were not personally involved with the sale or transaction. If you did not start the thread and your name is not in the title; THEN DO NOT POST IN THE THREAD
The days of unnecessary remarks, opinions, and prodding by people that were not part of the deal to begin with are over. This is a 3 strikes and you are out policy. 2 warnings with infractions then a ban. No exceptions.

6. Once (if) the matter is resolved, please post up the resolution and the thread can be locked.

Rules look pretty clear to me, 3 Strikes and u r out. No exceptions...

If you did get 3 strikes on 1 infraction, I could understand the frustration.
??? - Not quite sure I believe the story, but I am pretty sure that 01SS did his research before implementing the penalty. Guess we will never know because as Snake stated - Link don't work.

He got one infraction per occurrence. 3 total, third should have been a ban but it wasn't. So yeah, I actually did him a favor.

You should do yourself a favor and find something more constructive to do. You gave me an BS infraction on a 2 month old post.

Yes there were several infractions issued in that particular section. Everyone seems to ignore Rule #5. So now those who got caught are pissing and moaning. Sorry pal. The rules were created most likely by the founders and/or the original members that started this website and ran it for the bulk of its existence. Take it up with them if you feel so strongly about it ;) I'm pretty sure they stand behind them even today. That's called integrity.

Since the rule had been lacking enforcement in the past, why not some warnings before going through all the old posts and giving out infractions as you see fit?

Plain and simple, the mods let it slide, which led people to believe it was ok, so how about some warnings that this rule will be enforced fully.

Statements like this will gain you ZERO support, and make your position look weak. Immature attacks directed towards the staff for enforcing site rules will not be tolerated.

Infractions are nothing more than warnings really; it's not like any of you received a temp ban.
