New Heads with Pics
I am putting new heads on the cts-v after tearing it apart and finding that the heads were not done like the guy that sold it to me said they were. Ohh well and while we are in there were are doing a new cam. and monster stage three clutch. I though i would share pics of the heads.

Lol! Yeah... Like really pretty paper weights! Lol jk
Nice! There is a set of AFR heads in the Texas classifieds with springs on them I'm considering buying for the V. Pretty pricey so I am unsure if I'll get them or not but sure would be nice. Those, a nice cam with a fast intake manifold and the other mods I have should make the car pretty stout and prob fast enough to be satisfied with it. Lol

That's what I've heard. I really didn't wanna put the money out for heads but I figure I might as well get it done in one shot. Lol plus I'm sure I can get some money back from my LS6 heads. Not really sure how much but they gotta be worth something. I plan to spray mine eventually as well unless I'm pleased with the power it makes on the heads/cam combo alone. And that sucks about the clutch! I have a clutch waiting to be installed along with a set of kooks, catless connectors, motor mounts, etc. Lol this car is a never ending expense lol

A buddy of mine runs a shop. He had a 2010 civic come in, with head ported/polished/ceramic coated, like $20,000 worth of motor work done alone to this thing...
He got under the hood... nothing was done to the head, and everything was spray painted with BBQ paint...
Just goes to show you can't trust some shops these days...

We are kind of at a stand still right now. We ended up having to send the heads back because somewhere on the way to me they got dropped. so they are sending us some new ones. We are also waiting on the clutch to show up. Then we are gonna throw the car on the trailer and take it to a buddies shop to put it on a lift. once parts get here it wont be to long, maybe a few days.

But then, sometimes shippers tend to throw heavy things like that in a box with a few pieces of crumpled paper, and call it a day.
