Looked on the sticky for amount of power a stock short block can handle and I only saw LS series info. Could someone please give me some suggestions on first time 100 shot kits for my stock lt1 with few boltons/ stock block and how much it can handle? Will I need any supporting mods? Thanks for the help.

It should take a 100 shot no prob. I would at least upgrade your fuel pump.

For an LT1 I would run a wet kit. The plate kits are nice but more expensive. If you are only going to run a 100 shot or so I would just get a nozzle kit.

I've run a 150 on my stock shortblock untuned through a nozzle. Only upgraded my fuel pump. If course I had the usual bolt ons. Holds up great. Now I'm spraying 175 tuned with ported intake, 58mm tb, custom cam, and the usual bolt ons.

You can do 150hp worth on a good running lt1 all day.

For simplicity, I would look at something like our brand X single nozzle. Will handle all the motor can and leave you with some coin to get the safety features you definitely want while learning.
