I think Rossler makes the best/strongest.....$2695.0 plus deep pan ($100), plus your core (assuming it is in good shape and doesn't nees hard parts). Worth every penny. I just got mine 2 weeks ago and am using a Vigilante multidisc converter

Well, the tranny with shipping ($68 each way) was $3771.XX, because my core was hurt, needed some hard parts. The converter will depend on what you want, but plan on spending $800+ shipped for a good one (i.e., P.I., Yank, etc). Labor was free, a friend did it at his home-shop (would normally charge $200, but most regular shops will charge about $250-$350 to R&R the tranny). I sent ini my singel disc Vigilante to P.I., and paid $375.00 to have them upgrade me to a brand new multidisc converter (about $400 when you figure in shipping each way). ALso need Royal Purple synthetic fluid for about $80-$90.

If your starting from scratch and your trany is still perfect, plan on about $4250-$4500 with Rossler tranny, deep pan, good converter, synthetic fluid, and labor.

450 rwhp is a LOT for the stock tranny....wont las more than a sumer if you use sticky tires and race it alot....but just drive it till it blows and then do it (more costly though).

Rossler has my transmission as we speak. Is he the best? we shall see. I like the idea that i can get it refreshed for $550 plus any hard parts and you just cant beat his reputation.
