Default Emergency Brake Sys

I believe "joinedthedarkside" is onto something (in regards to anyone with the rear driver's side rattle) when he mentioned the emergency brake assembly on his car was severly loose. I have the same rattle that he and others do and when he mentioned it about the emergency brake it got me thinking, because I just found out that my hand brake does not function at all. I am going to take my rear drum off and see if my e brake components have a lot of slap in them as well. So I am inquiring to many of the other T/A owners with this rear driver's side rattle to see if your emergency brake system has also failed. I need to get my T/A into the shop and have them fix this ASAP. Maybe the loose components that "joinedthedarkside" found on his T/A's emergency brake system will be the ultimate cause to the "gravel in a can" rattle that irritates so many of us. Let me know if any of you find that your emergency brake is not stopping your car at all.
