Default Excellent NO ETHANOL site

This may be old news to many but for people like myself that just discovered it, it has been really nice putting 'no ethanol' premium in my cars. The gas mileage is definitely improved and there will be no separation issues over the winter if you store your car. Here is the site: www.pure-gas.org and just click on your state.

Yeah, they aren't close to everyone. I'm lucky that I have 2 in my town and another one about 15 miles away if I'm in that area.

Ethanol is amazing!

Of course I may be a tad biased. It's liquid gold in Nebraska.

Where I live they passed legislation that all gas sold must have up to 10% ethanol in it. It sucks NOT having a choice!

wow, thats terrible. i didnt know it was so hard for some people to find ethanol free gas. i have a station a block from my house, and it sells both. the ethanol free pumps are always crowded in comparison.

now if i could find 93 octane i would be in business. all i can find here in northern oklahoma is 91.

^ No 93 at all down in T-town either, but just finding ethanol free is quite a task and drive though.

What state is this?
when i lived in oklahoma city, i had to go to the "less wealthy" part of town to find ethanol free, and then it was off brand stations. i dont know why they think big citys must have ethanol at every station...

edit: i know tulsa and okc aren't "big citys" but they are to us okies

The places near here that are no ethanol or either no brand, run down, got water in the gas, fly by night types OR in the getto... I'm not getting gas where it looks like I need to be issued a knife/gun.

You can update the information on the site when you find out one way or the other. I did that with the two stations that I am close to. They both still sell 93 and plan on doing so as long as it is available. My gas mileage is soooo much better, an easy 2 -3 mpg. It is noticeable. I pay about 10c a gallon more for the stuff but it is a no-brainer. 15 gallons is just $1.50 more and I get a minimum of 2 extra gallons (30-45 miles worth) at $4.00 each. I'm ahead about $6.50 each time I use 15 gallons. Plus no ethanol issues.
