search something like "cruise control" wiring m6 swap and you'll find it, i'm pretty sure the_merv has a good explanation in his a4 to m6 wiring writeup
basically you just jump one wire from the brake switch to the clutch switch from what i remember

I did just as you described, but my cruise still doesn't work. I have been liking the M6 swap so much that I still haven't looked into it yet.
Maybe this weekend I'll take a look into it. Sounds like it would work in theory.

I just realized 11 months now after my swap I've had the top clutch switch unlpugged this whole time hahah, the single switch on the brake pedal was plugged in in place of it since they use the same plug. I haven't wired it up yet either, doesn't really bother me without it but I'll probably do it soon
