Default E3 plugs

How do i get around the A/C condenser to replace the plugs without breaking out the saws all? i removed the R/F tire to see if there was a cutout for access, but didn't see anything, any help would be great, and feel free to give me the "your a dumb ***, speech" thanks

Think you mean something other than the AC condenser - maybe the EGR (depending on your year). Or are you talking about #8?

Hang in there, 'OP. You can grab all of the plugs from the top as long as you move the coil packs out of the way...

OP..i just did a tuneup on my 98 trans am 2 days ago..u can probably still see the thread i started asking the same question..fron underneath it was impossible because the exhaust manifolds are in the way..so wat i did was took out all of the A/C lines..every silver A/C line was taken out..then i took off the number 7 coil pack..this gave me 100% more room to get to the last 2 plugs..the easiest way was to take the spark plug socket and put it on the plug by hand..then take the wrench with a universal head (u probably need an extension) and put that on the socket..i did this for every plug and it took about and hour to finish

^^^ I changed my #8 plug and wire from underneath, it was easier. I spent more time messing with the stupid coil rail bolts than I did actually chaging the plugs. I ended up just leaving the coils where they were, I found it unecessary to move them.

Update 'OP! Also, did you have to move the exhaust out of the way to get to #8, StuntMike?

So you basically did an AC delete just to change plug wires?

And here I'm not having that hard of a time with the coil packs on and gorilla hands.
