Default SLP Dual Dual flow

Possibly thinking about getting rid of the Slp Dual Dual. Its a great muffler and like the sound, but would like something that flows really well with out the noise. Any suggestions?

Keep the dual/dual. It is one of the best flowing mufflers out there.

There's really nothing that's going to flow better and not be much louder. Only options are true duals or maybe the SLP loudmouth, and they will be louder.

I vote get a cutout installed; best flow when you need it, quiet when you don't.

I agree. Like mentioned already, the dual/dual flows very well.

Cam/heads LS1, ARH long tubes ORY and Dual-dual, with elect cutout, dyno only showed 5 HP diff between open and closed, the dual-dual SLP is a great flowing muffler. KEEP IT!

Keep it! My 2OTL was only 6hp difference with the cutout on a h/c engine.

I had a 5 HP difference between open headers and the dual/dual on my 383.

There isn't going to be anything quieter than the D/D that flows as well. You sure you don't have the loudmouth?

SLP Dual dual vs 2OTL - which one sounds better?
Is the 2OTL made anymore either?

If you want to quiet down while keeping good flow, my only guess would be a Magnaflow muffler, they're supposed to flow good while being rather quiet. Not sure which models though...

2OTL is imo the best sounding exhaust for our cars. Like the dual/dual i do not believe it is produced any longer.

2OTL is slightly louder than a Magnaflow all over. IMO you can't go wrong with the dual/dual or 2OTL. With my H/C 98 and a 2OTL I can have a lot of fun on the street without attracting unwanted attention from the police or pissing off my neighbors in my sub division when I go to work at 4am. Ten years ago I wouldn't have given a crap about those last two but when you get older you kind of want to quiet things down alittle.

I like the dual dual, just wondering if there was anything better out there? Anyone try the Pro-Flow system?

That's substantially louder than my Dual/Dual.
