I use a Centerforce in my LS1 Camaro and it works great! I've never used a Monster but it seems like people are generally really happy with them. Either way I think you're making a good purchase.

I just put a monster stage 2 in. Havent had much driving time on it yet, but so far it feels great. HUGE improvement over my 72k stock clutch.

TDP's Diamond Stage 1 or 2, search for reviews on here, you won't find anything negative

I have the stage 2 in my car. great price and a good balance of grab and driveability, you can drive it nice and smooth but when you want it to grab it bites like an animal

I don't know how much the Centerforce is but if your looking for a complete clutch kit (flywheel, PP, slave, pilot bearing etc) you'll have to spend more than $600, unless you get a LS7.

We've sold over 4000 clutches in the past 4 years, so there may have been a bad apple mixed in as nobody can be perfect, but that is why we are the only clutch manufacturer to offer a 1yr/unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturers defect with our clutches. If you have any questions about a Monster feel free to ask me. Chris, 817-750-2000

He didnt say anything about Monster, he said TDP has had postive reviews and he enjoys his. Sure seems like you have something against TDP cause you always have something to say when they are brought up.

I think you're taking my post wrong. I've got nothing against TDP or Jason.

I didn't mean to quote him actually, my mistake. This thread had Monster in it and I was merely making others aware of our history and our warranty.

I am an employee of a clutch company, I'm going to post up in threads that ask about clutch options and threads that have Monster in them - nothing more to it.

I've actually noticed you clutch companies are all very civil and friendly with each other, which is something that can not be said for all sections of this site and manufacturers of other products hahah

and I believe my TDP clutch came with a 1 year warranty also, not that I plan on needing it

Thanks for the good word bro. Yes, its true the Diamond comes with a one year, 24k mile warranty - technically. That is basically unlimited mileage, as most ppl don't drive that amount of miles in one year. On the same note, I have never even asked for proof of mileage on a warranty claim. Even if it's been 2 years, I'll still at least meet you in the middle and make things right, should the clutch come to an early death.

All I can say is Read Read Read, and you'll learn all that you ever want to know about all available clutch brands. Don't just go and jump on the bandwagon

i just installed on one of these in my car, im still waiting on an alxe, so i cant tell you any thng about it yet, but it is a good price, from a good company,we install southbend's diesle performance clutches all the time and they are very well built and extremely tough.
there are always more options out there. hope this helps. http://compare.ebay.com/like/2703776...=sbar&_lwgsi=y
if you are interested contact me, i sell these through my shop and could possibly save you some money.

a certain sponsor on here claims that because they're not designed to work with our style slave they don't disengage properly which causes syncro wear and shortens the life of the trans. diamond/monster/others offer so many options that hold more power yet cost the same or less I would look elsewhere. I've seen a lot of people have high rpm shifting issues with those clutches, something to do with the self adjusting pressure plate.

then again there's tons of people on here who say "i've had one for xxxxxx miles and it works great" so do some more research before you settle on it

Quick Reply: Which clutch for $400-600? Help please!
