Hard to tell exactly how much e.t. you will pick up by swapping to something in the 4000 range, but you are definetly leaving a lot on the table only running a 3200 converter with the MS4. How does the car 60ft currently?

Like MYSTIC-1C said, its hard to know how much the new converter will pick up, but there will be a noticeable gain because a 3200 is a tad small for the MS4.

Personally I would go with something in the 4000 range.

IMO if he's already cutting a 1.74 short time, he's not that far off, plus the lower stall will be easier on the rearend if he still has a 10 bolt.

The higher stall speed will get him further into the powerband of the cam. It will only improve it. The higher the stall the better but you have to balance that between track duty and street duty. I would go 3600 minimum if it were me. I think closer to the 4000 mark would be better but some guys don't like that much converter on the street.

I like my Yank SS3600 since I am mostly street but have seen the SS4k stall be worth 2+ tenths 1/4 on MS4 cars that can put it to the ground.....

I went from a 3500 to a 4000 stall with an MS3 cam. There was a big difference in the seat of the pants feel. I don't know how much time it cut at the track though. Also 3:73 gears made a big difference in how the car felt.

Im sure it would be worth it. I would guess .3-.4 reduction in et with a 4k over 3200

if he goes with a ss4000 stall and has traction, I would bet .4 would be seen

I had a 2800 in my 224 cammed car and I felt it wasn't enough converter, I swapped for a vig.3600 and spun to a faster time. 11.7 vs 11.5 spinning slightly
