Default GTO T56 in a camaro

I am looking at putting an LS2/T56 from a GTO into my 01 camaro. Will the T56 work in an 01 camaro or will I need a T56 from an fbody? If it will work, will the fbody clutch master cylinder work with the LS2 slave? I will be using my 01 LS1/T56 camaro wiring harness and PCM.

While we are at it, anyone know if the GTO LS2 oil pan work in an fbody?

Thanks!

if you use the GTO Bell/ use the GTO starter. Change the rear offset lever & use a F cars shifter & you shoukd be OK. The GTO has a different gear set, you know.

I have one in my 01 ws6. You dont have to change anything except the shifter cup in the tranny to an fbody one. They are geared deeper. Im not sure about the slave I used my fbody slave
