Default air compressor leaking from case

how often do the air compressors leak from the case? i filled my system with freon some weeks ago and it has leaked all out....i got under the car and i see the green die inbetween the case of the air compressor....i dont see the die on any hoses just on the compressor itself......can it be repaired or does the whole compressor need to be replaced???

Very often, its a common failure in these cars, I just replaced mine for the same reason a few days ago. If you decide to get one get a brand new one not a reman unit.

yea the front seal of the compressor can go bad. You can find a reman on Ebay for like 100 bucks. Brand new ones are something stupid like 400 bucks. If you can swing it new is better but I've never had any issues with a good reman compressor.
