Default G8 vs Mustang **vids**

Quick run my buddy had last night. Mods in video.

Mustang was riding solo, G8 had me only as the cameraman.

Was the Mustang spinning in the first vid or the G8? It almost looked like he started in 2nd with how fast he fell back. Good kills for the G8.

It was actually the G8. The stang downshifted a couple of times (before the video started) so I thought he was in a good gear. He agreed 20 & 50 were both good for him as well. Looks like he started in 2nd if you compare races though.

You need to bring out that 4v.

After a few months of not going anywhere passed 1/2 throttle I heard Thunderstruck on the radio today and let loose I had a few backfires after 4,500 RPMs and I let out. I'm still waiting on that PSRI and a retune.

How much longer before the intake comes and you get a tune? I wanna see her back out in action!

In related 4v news, I met a guy last night with an 01 Cobra, who is putting a forged bottom end on it with an Eaton and a 100 shot on top. Has 4.30s too. Wondering if you know him? Didn't catch his name.

I am the Mustang driver. First race I started in 1st, started to spin so I hit second and spun again, had to pedal it and shut down at the top of second.

Second race was second and a good punch for me.

Did you not film the second 50 roll?

I have no clue when the intake will be done. I was hoping it would be done last month, but that didn't happen. I sure hope it's ready to go this month because August is going to be hard scheduling-wise for me to get a tune.

As for the Cobra I have no idea who the guy is. That car will fly from 0-115 as long as traction isn't an issue.

I filmed it, but Kyl didn't upload it for whatever reason.

Are you getting it custom made, or is it a new product?

Huh, alright then. The 50's were good runs though. It was a good time.

If the rain holds off (doesn't look like it will but we can hope), we'll be at Sonic on Elm tonight. Kyl is racing a couple other of my friends and that's more of the "racer's" Sonic than the one in Chesterfield. Feel free to come out if you'd like, it's just the next exit down from the exit you got off at last night after the 3rd run.

Speaking of which, that looked to be the best one. Why'd you let off so soon? It would definitely have been the best run of the 3.

Or you can always come out to the Craven Performance show this weekend.

Its already raining here, and I work Saturday, otherwise I would be there. Next week sometime if you guys head out anywhere tell Kyl to hit me up on facebook, or something like that because I want another shot at that 20!

I let off because I'm not very familiar with that area and I didn't want to get to far away and not know where I was, otherwise I would have kept going.

Sounds good to me.

Like I said earlier, I just don't know the area at all and didn't feel like getting lost. I can message you my cell number on facebook or something and maybe sometime next week I will be out and about and we can get that done.

Great races! I actually expected the stang to pull, but the G8 held it's own. That's what I like to see . Thanks for the vids too!

This is exactly the reason why I feel the way I do about Lamestangs.
