All right guys I've swapped newer PCM (2000') and 4L80E into my 98' car finally. I'm using HPTuners. What do I need regarding PCM? I know HPT swaps segments for it's customers, but what file do I need to start with? Most recommend 12212156 OS. Do I need 12212156 from automatic 02' Camaro as a base file?

So with HPT you can use a 99+ F-body pcm and tcm and control a 80E?

Someone tell me how this works please...

A buddy is using his stock 98 computer with his 80. I believe he just had to repin a few of the wires.
