Default Mixed reviews on intake lids

Ok, I know there is no "best" intake lid. But after reading some threads, I dont know what I want to go with, which ones seem to have the best luck with people nowadays?

Summitracing has the SLP for $99, Granatelli for bout $70, and then there is the K&N 57 Series air intake for a whopping $330.

They all do the same thing. Lid 1 might fit great on Guy 1's car, but fit like absolute **** on Guy 2's car. Some people love the SLP fit; other guys can't make it work because it hits the hood.

Basically, you pick the price you like, the color you like, and hope it fits well enough that you only need a little weatherstripping to fix things.

And I believe that ^^^^ sums it up about as good as it gets. I'd reccomend the weather stripping on the inside of the lid ANYWAYS, just so you know full well that no matter what, you have a complete seal.

Ditto. I never realized how important this is until I started running a clear lid and could see how big of a gap was at the back of the lid.
