Default Mufflex 4" on Mild LT1...

I have a car with ported/polished LT4 heads and a real mild cam, originally meant for road racing.

I want to put a Mufflex 4" exhaust system on it with the Spintech muffler.

Will it be overkill for the car?

For a stock cubic inch LT1, a good flowing 3 inch catback will be plenty in terms of flow. If you are using it for racing, the 4" pipe along with the spintech muffler is quite heavy weight wise. I would call it overkill for a 350 cu.in. motor, especially with a mild cam.

It can support about 600hp, but like you said, it sounds awsome, and you will have the biggest one on the block!!!!
