Default Jantzer ported TB - very pleased.

This piece is a very well finished TB. Just looking at it, the TB opening screams airflow. Well, finally bolted it on, went for a run and the engine loves it.
The big cam I have used to surge a bit when pulling up to lights. The surge is gone, and idle quality has improved.
WOT pulls are very healthy.

I fully endorse this product (though I'm no celebrity ).

Smile Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the information. I plan on getting this modification done within the next few months so it's good to hear some positive feedback. The quality of work definitely looks good. Glad to hear it will add a little kick. Think it will help with a stock internal engine? It's also a pretty nice engine dress-up mod. So all in all it's worth it yeah?

Ironically, I asked for mine unpolished (I'm all about no-show).
The swap is about as easy as a mod can get and I kick myself for not getting a ported TB earlier. I'm sure it's a good 5-7hp on a near stock car.
Well worth it.

Ok, I've been driving this thing around for a couple days now with the TB, and you know what? This simple mod has really woken things up. I'd say SOTP 10hp gain at least. Engine breathes well now and pulls strong- especially from lower revs. This cam (TSP231/237) is finally getting the air it needs.

I will be getting mine (polished) in a few days. Did you have to do anything as far as the throttle cable is concered to get true WOT?

I am with you JRP, I don't know what to get. I thought I read some archives that the 2 sponsors have reworked the other one in the past and got more out of it, but I wouldn't put that in stone.
