steam from coolant
I just got the car back from another opti install and I noticed it was running a little hotter than normal..I have a 160new tstat and the car usually stays around 180. But now its around 200 210.. well it is extremely hot outside but I opened the hood and I heard gurgling sound coming from the the radiator..I opened up the over flowand some steam was coming out..I've only put 300 miles on the car since october would that have anything to do with it or did they screw something up when they put the opti in..or it could just be fine since its not overheating

Yes. you can drive it BUT be sure to bleed the system properly!! look in the manual for the steps and be sure to repeat them a few times. remember there are two bleed screws and be sure to put a rag or cloth of some sort to catch the coolant coming out when you bleed them.

what I did is, I run he car til normal temperture, turn off engine, and open the bleeder that next to thermostat, and park the car, come back in the morning, close the bleeder and top off the coolant.
