Default PWM 4l60E VS non PWM 4L60E

No it's not a drag racer or a badass street car. I have a built 84 toyota rock crawler with a TBI 4.3/4L60E(PWM). I was in Moab and stuffed the front end causing the driveline to to collapse. When it did it broke the rear tranny housing maknig the tranny usless. I have a 4l60E but the it's not a PWM tranny like the one i broke.

Question is......
Can i swap the guts over from the PWM to the non PWM and can i get my ECU flashed to shift the non PWM tranny? My plans are to get a seal kit and swap everythig over. The tranny i broke only has about 1500 miles on it so everything inside is still good other then the case. Obviously i will need a seal kit

Can i get the ECU reflashed to shift the non PWM tranny?
