Stock Trans Am/Formula/Z28 tail pipes are 2.25". Stock SS/WS6 tail pipes are 2.5".

u can take it and get the end of the pipe expanded to fit off the y..and ya it makes a difference..i bought my car with 3" on it..but it was gettin rusty so i had a guy do a half *** job with 2.5 i believe it is..and i want 3 back..now im lookin to buy a kit for it
