Paint & Body Work - Price to Paint Car

Looking to get a 01 TA painted and would like to change colors. I'd like to do the door jambs, under the hood, etc. Anyone else ever have this done? How much is a good ballpark?

Yea how high quality do you wantt? The better the more expensive it will be in general. I've seen some decent paint jobs that covered all that from between 1500-2000. Just depends what quality you can afford. Try and get a place with a guarantee too

I would probably start at six. There is a lot of labor involved in changing the color especially if you want the engine bay changed too.

This, and I would guess you'll end up closer to 9-10 by the time you're done depending on how far they go. This will depend on the amount of bodywork, the type of material, and your location.

Typically when I do a color change the only way to tell it was another color was to read the data tag.

Nothing gets masked, everything gets pulled. If you can tell is a color change, it wasnt a very good job.

Average will be $2500 same color - $5000 to change the color. Atleast thats what it is around here
