Default 93 lt1 knock sensor delete/resistor?

on my 1993 z28 in getting 5 degrees pulled by the knock sensor. i used a tech to to confirm it. im running bbk shorty headers and y pipe and the clamp on the yipipe touches the oil pan a little and i think thats where I might be picking it up at. either way could i just unplug it or would i have to run a resister in the line? remember 93 is ecm and cant do a lt4 knock module.

thanks

You can do away with the knock sensor in the tune all together if you wanted. They are there for a reason though. I do not think its that simple to just put a resistor in. If you have an AFPR you can richen it up to see if you are actually getting knock from the engine not being tuned right.
