Anyone here have experience with the Diablo Predator U7193 tuner?
Just bought one off another member with the interface module which allows you to upload and download custom tunes from your computer.
I bought it to hold me over in between my kooks header install / cat delete and my cam install in the future. I just wanted to be able to turn the rear o2's off and clean the tuning up a little bit in the meantime. It will also be handy as a diagnostic tool.
I intend to have a full blown custom dynotune done later after the cam install but how do u guys like this tuner for a handheld? Good performance results with the 93 performance tune? Any gas mileage increase?

They work really well.
If its a newer tool, you'll need a customtune to delete the rear o2s, but the tune will wake it up nicely.
i wont make any promises on MPG improvements on a LS6 powered V, but assuming its dialed in you may see some small gains on the highway.
let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks

Ok great! Mpg isn't a major concern... I was just curious. Performance is the priority.
I know the predator has all the latest software on it. I'm told I can delete the rear o2's with the handheld tool. I'm hoping that's the case because I was going to wait to do a custom tube until I do my cam install.
Thanks for the info and help btw!

Can't delete the rear o2's with an updated predator like u want. If your car has been to the dealership at all in the last couple a years, it'll need some 9.xx update or some crap. I purchased a predator from another member (wasnt his fault BTW), but it turned out to be too much hassle to send it off and wait for a month or more. I hate being a Debbie downer for u on this. It just plain sucks though if u get it and it won't work because of diablosport's greed on software revisions.

Well that fu**in blows! My car hasn't been to the dealer in the past 2 years that I know of. I've owned it for about a year and a half now if not longer and I've never been there with it.
The guy I'm buying the predator from works for diablo he said. He said it was his personal programmer used once and that was it. Said the handheld isn't very old but before he sent it, he would load it with the newest software and send me an interface module with it. I'm hoping this update is a good thing. I guess worst case scenario... If it gets here and won't do what I need it to, I'll throw it back up for sale and go get a tune over at g-force.

Let me know how it turns out for you. I am also seeking the O2 delete and wondered if this devise will work.
And as usual... I'll bring beer & $ if you can hook me up also.

Yeah I hope this works out as expected. I think it will. The guy I'm buying it from said turning off the o2's won't be an issue. Now I'm hoping he means with the tuner alone and not having to pay more for a custom tune. Lol
Ekshail... I'll let you know bro. Got the confirmation that it was shipped out today so I'll have it soon.

I believe the only option is to have it CMR tuned which sucks cause why by the hand held just to have to turn around and purchase a CMR tune? You could almost get a dyno tune for the price. I wish SCT would come out with something cause people like bama sell the sct tuner with lifetime free update tunes. If only diablo could offer the same. I wouldn't have purchased the diablo for my jeep but I think it's my only option as far as a handheld tuner. Come on SCT where is the support or diablo quit nickel and diming us.

I got one a while ago for the performance tune, would not work on my car since the dealer
flashed with newer code on the car this year.
Have been waiting for a month and have not heard anything back yet from them will keep
you updated when/if they create an update for the unit to get the performance
tune working for the new Cal Id.
If not will be selling it off and going to another hand held or custom tune.
