General Maintenance & Repairs - HELP!!!!!!!! my door is shot

trying to keep my car in top shape i had a guy replace my window motor, in the process he totaly killed the door. i have been searching for two days now for a thread i once saw here, for a template of a metal plate to mount the window motor, and cant find it can anyone help me pls
