So I've had a Trans Am hatch and spoiler to put on my firebird but I got it without glass. That means I gotta swap it. So I'm wondering if anyone knows a supplier of window glue for use thru a caulk gun or better yet, if any of you guys working at shops have a couple partial tubes I could get on the DL. Shy of the right stuff, what works as an alternate? Like Liquid Nails or any other common store items? Thanks for the input!

You can get windshield urethane at any auto paint supply. They actually sell 3M at my local Advance Auto Parts, although it's a little higher than through a decent supplier. Find a shop around you that sells automotive paint, and you'll be golden.

It takes 3 tubes to lay down a nice big bead, Trim is about $80 from the dealer if you need new stuff, and you need at least a 8" blade to cut the window out. I would take the hatch off and bring it to your local glass place to do the swap, its a real bitch to do

Agreed. I watched them change my windshield and there was alot to it.

Id take both hatches to a glass man.
